3 Days in Maine

I will be free for a week and love to have fun at least for 3 days. So, considering 3 day vacation packages from new york and love to go for Maine State. Do you think going for Maine and stay for 3 days will prove a fun plan for me? If you have any suggestion regarding how to make that time remarkable for me then can share frankly here. Can suggest attraction names as well.
