Mississippi River and Michigan

Let me know which one is the biggest state from the Mississippi River and Michigan. I am quite confused about this and would like to know through you all. Actually, I was debating on this point with my friend in last days but can't reach at one point. So help me regarding this.

Mississippi River is not a state its biggest river of United States. Must say going there could be fun. If you have any name of attraction on your hit list which located on the river then let me know frankly.

Well, I also don't know about much about the place but how much I can see through you guys, I must mention that it seems quite an interesting one and yeah you're right Lucas2, Mississippi River is a river no state, One day I will surely really like to get to try some of the places like this and having fun time at this one.
